What is the purpose of a body scrub?

A body scrub is essentially a facial for your body. You exfoliate your face to get rid of dead dry skin and the same thing is needed for your body. When you exfoliate you are removing the top layer of dead skin cells. This allows for deeper penetration of moisturizing agents and topical treatments.

When to exfoliate?

I prefer to exfoliate in the morning as an extra boost of energy to wake up my skin. Our skin also repairs itself at night, therefore, the morning is the perfect time for scrubbing away those dead skin cells.

Should I exfoliate or cleanse first?

By cleansing first you aid in removing dirt, and sweat from your skin’s surface. You are then working with a squeaky clean base! Exfoliating secondly softens your skin and allows a fresh layer of skin cells to regenerate as your old dead skin cells are washed away. This is the best way to prep your skin for serums, moisturizers or topical treatments.

Exfoliating first is a little bit on the unusual side but also has ALOT benefits. Exfoliating first removes residue, AND dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. Leaving your skin prepped and ready for cleansing. Exfoliating first allows your cleaning agent (body wash, soap etc) to penetrate deeper for an extra deep clean. This method also provides a thoroughly clean and very smooth, surface for your skin to receive moisture.

How do I patch test?

Apply a small amount of product to your neck or wrist prior to using it anywhere else on your face/body. Recommended especially if you have sensitive skin.

Are these products PH friendly?

Our Pretty Kitty Bikini Scrub is PH friendly, but is not to be placed inside the vaginal cavity. None of our products are to be placed in the Vaginal Cavity.

Do your products contain nuts?

Our products contain sweet almond oil, and are not made in a nut free environment.

My product doesn’t look the same as the pictures?

Due to all products being handmade in fairly small batches, please allow for slight variation in appearance. We promise that it’s the same GREAT product.

Why do you use Soy Wax?

Soy Wax is all natural & burns clean, without the use of toxic or harsh chemicals.

In addition to being hand poured all of our Soy Wax Candles are free of parabens and preservatives. Please store tightly covered in a cool dry place to maximize shelf life.

Processing Times?

All local orders before 4pm will be shipped out within 3-5 days, but can be arranged for local pickup within 24-48 hours for a rush my order fee! Text (647)667-6948 to arrange for local pick up, 1 Rean Drive, Toronto.
Pick up times are between 6pm to 11pm in Toronto. Local orders placed on Friday - Sunday will be shipped out within 1 - 3 business days starting Monday.

All international orders placed Monday to Thursday will be shipped within 5 - 7 days. International Orders placed Friday - Sunday will be shipped out between 5 - 7 days starting Monday, as the post office closes at 7pm.

I haven’t received my tracking information, but I’ve paid?

Please check your spam/junk folder for your tracking information. If you are still unable to locate it please reach out to sales@bodybylashes.ca or send a text to (647)667-6948 citing your order number as the subject. Allow 3-5 days after your order has been placed, before reaching out.

Shipping Times?

Shipping to the USA is 4-10 business days.

International Shipping is 6-12 business days.

These timings are just an estimate, and are NOT guaranteed.

Due to COVID-19, please expect shipping delays on the postal end (not ours). Orders are shipped within 1-7 days after payment (excluding weekends) Tracking numbers are given out but often don't reflect the location of the shipment on the Canada Post website. This is beyond our control, but Canada Post has assured us that packages are moving even when it's not reflected on their website.

Please allow 5 business days before reaching out to customer service about order shipments. Due to the nature of our products, there are no returns or refunds. If there is an issue with your shipment, please contact us at customerservice@bodybylashes.ca to have your issue resolved.
